To take the clinically-validated Speech Perception Test, you’ll need the following:
Tell us your name, so we can find your result later; and whether you will wear hearing aids for the test.
You’ll listen to a short sentence to check that your speakers or headphones are at a good level.
When you’re ready, the computer will read you a word. Write down what you hear, even if it sounds like nonsense, then move to the next word. There are 50 words in the test, but you’ll get a few practice words first.
After you finish the test, you’ll immediately get your result. If you want, you can enter your email address and we’ll send you a copy.
